With over a decade of experience managing CBRN capabilities, we have been instrumental in managing the UK's specialist equipment procurement and obsolescence. This has involved field testing simulated training equipment, developing requirements for detection vehicles, procuring life-saving individual protective equipment, and sensors. We have also played a key role in having Forensic Exploitation recognised as a dangerous and niche capability. The blend of processes, organisational structures, tooling/equipment and information must be perfectly balanced to assure the evidence chain has sufficient integrity for use in international courts of law.
